Fundraiser for SCBPO Jackie Montanaro's family
It is with incredible sadness that Customs United Service Alliance and NTEU 161 seek your support for the family of one of our own, Supervisory Customs and Border Protection Officer Jacqueline Montanaro, and her daughter.
Jackie passed away earlier this morning after succumbing to injuries sustained after heroically attempting to save her daughter, Madelyn, when their home caught fire. Madelyn passed away this afternoon.
We cannot express in words how tragic the loss of this amazing Supervisor, Colleague, Friend, Mom and Hero is to our community.
Jackie’s ability to get any job done at work was only second to her love and devotion to her family at home.
A devoted wife to William Montanaro, mother of two beautiful daughters and Vice President of the Customs United Service Alliance. She held everyone to an extremely high standard and worked tirelessly to make everyone around her a better officer, a better person, or simply a better family member.
Please continue to keep Jackie’s family in your thoughts, prayers and please, please, please help us help Will and daughter Elena during this unimaginably tragic time.
